Description
This dataset releases real packet capture (PCAP) files collected from a 5G Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) testbed over short time windows (≈40 s) to support reproducible research on low-latency cyberattack detection at the network edge. The captures were recorded under controlled scenarios that include benign TCP/HTTP communications and Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) flooding traffic, covering TCP SYN flood and UDP flood cases. The dataset is designed as a short-horizon benchmark to capture rapid attack dynamics under realistic O-RAN operating conditions. Since the release consists of raw PCAPs, users may extract flow- or packet-level features using their preferred toolchains (e.g., LUCID or Argus) and use the traces to evaluate time-critical and data-efficient security analytics, including decentralized and federated learning (FL) workflows.
